Ferrel Guillory, director of Program on Public Life at UNC-CH, tells host Barlow Herget that the dramatic shift in demographics over the past 40 years is behind the political shifts in the state.  NC, which will be 7th largest state by 2030, has gone from 15 percent non-native population to 42 percent and most newcomers are from New York, Virginia and Mexico in last 10 years.
